Mobile Video Editing - The Next Episode?With the advent of Google Video, YouTube and the likes, it's become quite clear that the next generation of video filming lies right here in your pocket - mobile videos. From the days of the happy slap craze to the new video blog (or vlog) craze - it's all about mobiles isn't it? In line with that, and a desperate idea for a new project to get the Beckton Satuday sessions going, I've come up with a small short term project which combines creativity, online publishing and mobile video clips. Simply put, the idea is to record clips on your phone (usually 3gp format), transfer them on your pc, convert them to an editable form (mpeg for example), upload it to JumpCut (www.jumpcut.com) along with some sound effect and publish it online.
