Practice Expedition

Over the weekend (30 June - 1 July) twelve NYPO members, Nishant, Veronia, Dolice, Jamal, Amadu, Jaya, Faizan, Amin, Mohammed P, Mohammed W, Awais and Sayeed went camping and orienteering in Epping Forest with Gavin, Spike and Veronia. They camped overnight in a muddy field, got lost in the forest on the first day and marched over nine kilometers carrying heavy rucksacks in the rain on the second day. No one complained, everyone maintained a good spirit. An excellent achievement. Well done to all concerned. This was the group's practice expedition for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. The Assessment Expedition will take place on the weekend of 8 - 9 September.
