A 13 year old boy, named Visnu Jayaseelan, has managed to meet some of the famous people just by living in Newham. Some of the people he met  included an MP and the Newham Mayor. Visnu also saw John Abraham, a famous Bollywood actor, at Poplar DLR station while he was shooting a scene for a film. Visnu met the group Flavour from the reality show Britain’s Got Talent. He was very excited to meet them and they taught him and his class mates some of their dance moves which they all loved.

Aside from meeting famous people, Visnu is probably on his way to becoming one of them one day! He is a hardworking individual who has won many awards at school. Who is Nadine Lesforis???

Nadine is an extremely talented pianist. She has played the piano in the school assembly. Imagine how terrifying it must have been. I interviewed her about how she first learnt to play. She said that it was in school in music lesson when she was 12 years old. She realised she had a natural talent for it and so she kept at it and enjoyed it. She can also play the clarinet which she also performed in front of everyone when she was just only 10 years old. But underneath all this talent she is just an ordinary 13 year old girl in an ordinary school.

Funny stuffs

Nadine loves a bit of mischief, probably because she is the youngest of her 3 sisters. Once she started a food fight in her school. Everyone got involved chucking bits of mash and sausages! Hello and welcome all, to the brand new fabulouso and one of a kind Hyperzine!

The Hyperzine is THE online magazine for young people – yes that’s you- and anyone who works with young people, in Newham.

The Hyperzine will feature articles on things that interest young people in Newham – things that are happening in Newham for young people, and of course other young people’s thoughts and interesting ideas and more!

The Hyperzine will also feature interviews with the not-so-ordinary young people in Newham and the many extraordinary things that they do (trust us, there are a LOT of young people out there doing amazing things!).
